Seantell was an excellent host. She was on top of communication and met all of my needs during my stay. The house is nestled in the heart of downtown and super easy to get to & from places. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Charleston.
Nice, clean and equipped with lots of little extras such as an umbrella and water and even a bottle of wine! The space is small and cozy. And parking is only for the small suvs or cars. If you are doing Charleston this offers a nice quite place within walking distance of downtown.
I stayed here with a friend on a girls trip and it was incredible! The value for the price paid was fantastic. Every little detail of this place has been thought through. Robes, snacks, comfortable bed, cozy sheets and all around beautifully decorated. It really was far beyond expectations and I’m normally hard to please! Not the best location (definitely walkable during the day though!) but for the price we still saved a lot of money even with Ubers whenever/wherever we wanted to go.
The Jonathan Jasper Wright Inn had all of the amenities and necessities we needed for an enjoyable stay in Downtown Charleston. We took our 10 year old daughter for her birthday, and she had the best time. Every detail is thought of, from extremely comfortable sheets and pillows to cold coffee creamer in the refrigerator (my personal favorite). The location is ideal for someone wanting to experience all that Charleston has to offer, as you are a quick .5 mi. walk/drive to cute shops, King Street, and 10-15 minutes to Sullivan's Island or Folly Beach. I have stayed in many hotels, Air BnB's and other hosted sites and I have to say, we were extremely pleased with the property, communication with the host, and our stay overall. Thank you for wonderful experience, we can't wait to visit again!
Our stay at the JJW Inn was perfect. We could have spent hours on the porch enjoying the warm breeze. Every detail in the apartment is beautiful, from the furniture to the artwork and thoughtful selection of coffee table books. It was sparkling clean. It is near the main road but we didn’t notice any noise. The neighbourhood is lovely for a stroll with a range of places to eat and drink within a couple of minutes and the main strip around 15 mins walk. We had no need for a car and for us it was nice to “come home” from the busier areas.
Our stay was excellent! My new wife and I stayed at JJW over the course of week for our honeymoon and our stay was breezy and relaxing, in a large part thanks to our stay. We stayed in suite B, so we had a full apartment to aid us in our trip. It felt like Charleston was our home! The place was clean and fairly quiet; it had clean linens, facilities, everything! The bed was soft and comfortable and the locations was convenient. My only hang ups with the place are nitpicks and aren’t hardly anything that could be helped. The parking situation is a little tight, especially with other guests, but it’s manageable. There’s also some night noise, but with the proximity to the hospital and MUSC, it’s just a neighborhood trait. I wouldn’t change a thing though! 5/5, WILL stay again.
My husband and I stayed here for a week for our anniversary and absolutely loved it! We stayed in the Cannonborough Suite which was perfect for a couple. The host was super nice, she left complimentary snacks and wine for us in the room and was very quick when we asked for more towels. We spent a lot of time on the patio, which felt surprisingly private despite the surrounding units. I’m not sure I would have felt 100% safe walking around the neighborhood at night, but with a car, local cabs, and Uber, we had no issues at all getting around. We would definitely stay here again!
